Helpful Post: Inspiration from the world around you.

Inspiration: The process of being mentally stimulated to do or feel something, especially to do something creative.

Inspiration is a thing. A thing that writers use to write certain situations and characters. Inspiration can be taken from any person, place, or object. It can come from literally anything.

For example, you could be stuck on a scene you've been writing and you need something to keep your plot flowing, when you overhear two kids arguing over a bandana. Immediately you could get inspired to write a number of scenes where your characters get into a fight over a bandana. For example, you could write about your MC and your SC getting into a fight about how MC always wears his/her bandana. Now I know that this is a silly example, but as I said, inspiration can come from anything. Today try and find something that inspires you to write and write about it. It can be from a baseball game and you can write about how the pitcher is an undercover spy and the criminal mastermind is the catcher, it could be from a boat and you can write about how a movie stars life is threatened by "accidents" on a commercial cruise and the only one who can figure it out it the janitor and a wanna-be journalist, or even from a flower and you could write about how this one flower is the key to human survival. I know these are crazy, but they were inspired by me just looking at objects and coming up with some  crazy random story idea.

So today, I would like to ask you to come up with your own story idea, and comment the idea down below! Thanks guys! Happy writing!
